PENDING SALE TO BRIAN — An exceptionally minty Smith & Wesson Third Model .38 S&W Safety Hammerless double action pocket revolver with original factory box. Serial number 5892X. The Third Model was made between 1890 and 1898. 3.25” barrel, five-shot, .38 S&W caliber double-action revolver. Beautiful original nickel finish that appears near new a few light storage speckles on left side plate and a couple of nickel bath flaws near the serial number – otherwise just about pristine. All matching numbers, perfect mechanics, perfect grips, and shiny bore. This one appears to have never been fired. has a nicely contrasting fire blue trigger guard and latch. Strong case color on the trigger. The cylinder facing plate shows no signs that he revolver was ever fired! In its proper red S&W factory box with end label intact. The box is also in exceptionally good shape, for its 125+ year age. Take a close look at the photos. This is by far the best original condition .38 Safety Hammerless (“New Departure”) that we’ve ever have had. It would be difficult to upgrade. (EEPR-098)
