SOLD – Swedish Model 1896 6.5×55 Rifle. Made in 1898!

SOLD – A Scarce antique M1896 Carl Gustaf arsenal Swedish Mauser chambered in 6.5×55 Swedish, made in 1898. The blued parts are original and in great condition. Some of the smaller parts still retain brilliant electric bluing. The rifle is numbers matching on the receiver, floor plate, bolt, bolt sleeve, safety, cocking piece, rear sight, bolt release, and butt plate. The barrel bands match each other. The muzzle is threaded for a blank shredder. (American-made flash hiders and plain threaded muzzle protector caps are available.) The stock is in nice original condition–un-sanded and un-numbered. The original stock brass disc is in place. The bore is excellent–bright and shiny, with strong rifling. The cleaning rod and front sight hood are included. There is a light CAI import mark on bottom of barrel. I will also be including a used Swedish Mauser sling.
