Scoped Ludwig Loewe M1895 7×57 Sporter in Bishop Stock
SOLD to Tunnel Rabbit on Oct. 14, 2024 — Using Writing Contest Purchase Credits (ZERO Profit.) –A nice Chilean contract 1895 Loewe Sporter 7×57. Equipped with a premium M.P. Buehler low-swing scope safety, Bishop Monte Carlo-style dark American walnut sporter stock with Bishop buttplate, Weaver-style two-piece receiver scope bases, generic Weaver-style scope rings, and a Simmons 3-9X50 scope with duplex crosshairs. The stock is in very nice condition, with just light handling marks. Has a refinished military 23.75″ barrel with no iron sights. All of the metal work has been nicely and uniformly Parkerized for a fairly weatherproof, non-glare, and practical finish. The bolt has been recontoured for scope clearance, and a lightening hole added. The serial numbers match. The bore is fairly shiny, with distinct rifling. The D927X serial number makes the receiver circa 1896. Appears to have been sporterized, and not used much since then! This would make a great deer hunting rifle or counter-sniper rifle. (UEL-757)
