Scoped Chilean Lefty Semi-Sporter 7×57 M1895 Rifle
An unusual scoped Chilean M1895 Ludwig Loewe Rifle semi-sporter chambered in 7×57 Mauser, equipped with a scope. A NcStar 2-7x32E red dot scope is forward-mounted for fast bolt manipulation and loading. The optics are crisp and clear. This rifle’s serial # D620X indicates that the receiver was from 1897 production. Still equipped with the original German 28.5″ barrel and infantry straight bolt handle. The bore is mostly shiny with streaking and sharp rifling. It has been restocked in an American Walnut Monte Carlo-style stock with some typical dings and scratches. Black rubber recoil pad. Note that the Monte Carlo cheekpiece is on the right side, to suit a left-handed shooter that is accustomed to shooting a right-hand bolt action. The barrel can of course be shortened by any competent funsmith to whatever length over 16″ that you’d prefer. But even as it is, this is practical and affordable sporter suitable for hunting or for use as a counter-sniper rifle. (BCU-358)
