<> Iver-Johnson DA .32 S&W Revolver
An Iver Johnson Arms Co. .32 S&W double-action exposed hammer pocket revolver in good condition. Serial # 8862X. Made circa 1896 or 1897. This was a patent-infringing copy of the popular S&W-made .32 revolver. Can be fired in both single-action (SA) double-action (DA) modes. Has less than 10% original finish with some pittting and dings. This would be a very fuctional “carry” piece is refinished. (It could be left as-is, or reblued, Parkerized, or Cerakoted.) It has surprisingly nice condition owl’s head logo black gutta percha grips with some wear but no visible cracks or chips except a couple of very small non-threatening cracks at the base of the grip pane;s. (See photos.) Functions well, with fairly tight lockup. The bore has some pitting, but good distinct rifling. Pre-1899. A nice functional and very affordable pre-1899 pocket pistol. (IGA-032)
