SOLD — Engraved Ethan Allen Patent Percussion Pepperbox

A scarce early and original factory-engraved Ethan Allen Patent (Allen & Wheeelock) percussion six-shot bar hammer Pepperbox .32 caliber revolver with 3-1/2-inch fluted barrels. Serial # 29X. Also marked “77” on multiple components. Overall fair to good condition.  All Ethan Allen patent Pepperboxes were produced pre-1872, and given its very low serial number, this one is likely very early production of the fluted-barrel pistols. Overall fair to very good original condition. Because this is an early percussion piece, I am selling it strictly as a “wall hanger”, at a very reasonable price. I do not normally deal in percussion guns — I bought this with a group of guns, from an estate. So it is priced to sell quickly. (IUUG-546)
