Ludwig Loewe M1895 7×57 Scoped Thumbhole Sporter

Chilean contract 1895 Loewe Sporter 7×57. This rifle has an usual thumbhole stock with tiny red and green speckled dots. (See closeup photo. If that is not your cup of tea, then the stock could easily be Cerakoted or camouflage dipped.) Not yet equipped with low-swing scope safety—and that should be done before hunting, for safety! Has Weaver-style scope bases. Equipped with a Simmons Whitetail Classic 6.5-20x (50mm objective) variable scope. (Note: This inexpensive scope is amateurishly mounted with rings that are not quite tall enough. This scope should be professionally re-mounted or replaced.) Also equipped with a a Harris Company 1A2 folding bipod. Blued 26″ sporter barrel. Bore is good. Made circa 1895 or 1896. (BUK-109) $725
