Webley & Scott Mark I .45 ACP

SOLD to B.P.. — Very good+ condition antique British Mark I Webley revolver that is a scarce commercial/private purchase example without military acceptance markings. Marked on left side of frame with Webley trademark and model designation and has several scattered tiny British commercial proof marks. Gun is marked “ENGLAND” on the left side of the barrel and cylinder has been shaved for .45 ACP ammo on moon clips. Mechanically tight and excellent. Metal finish is nice original nickel plated finish just a little wear and a few scratches and small flakes. Bore is very good and bright with . Very Good rifling, with light pitting. I’d rate it at 6/10. Checkered brown hard rubber grips have a good tight fit and show some normal handling marks. Right grip has a tiny chip at the toe. Original lanyard ring is present.
