Stevens Brass Frame Tip-Up .22 Single Shot Pistol

Stevens Model “Tip-Up” with 3.5″ half-octagonal, half-round barrel. Has a .22 LR chamber.  (May have been deepened, after manufacture.) Has Stevens markings on the top flat of barrel, partially obscured where a gunsmith has added dovetailed blade/notch sights. Nickel-plated brass (antique vintage) frame. Smooth walnut grips. Both the barrel and hammer lock up nice and tight. Bore is very good/bright, with strong rifling. Frame and barrel have minor scratches/dings. Part of the underside of the barrel has turned a brown patina. The original grips are very good. Traces of blue remain on the trigger and hammer. (See photos.) Serial # 422X. Manufactured circa 1893.
