SOLD — Winchester M1892 Antique Stripped Receiver
SOLD — Scarce Winchester 1892 antique receiver. This stripped receiver is in used condition, in a dark patina blue. Made in 1894. (Serial # 53,12X). All markings on the receiver are legible as can be clearly seen in the pictures. The barrel threads are in good condition. No extra holes, and the screw threads work fine. Has some shallow pitting, but it should look great if polished and refinished. This one is the variety with threads for a small diameter magazine tube. (For .25-20, .32-20, or .218 Bee. It could also be used for re-building into a .38 S&W, .327 H&R Magnum, or .357 Magnum carbine.) These are very hard to find as stripped receivers, in the antique serial number range.
