Scarce Israeli Type A FN FAL Bayonet With Scabbard

PENDING SALE to Braden — A scarce unissued Israeli FN FAL Type A Bayonet with original black-enameled steel scabbard. Most of these were made in Belgium by FN. There are no Israeli markings,  but the Israeli Defense Force distinctively ordered these bayonets all-Parkerized, unlike the more typical two-tone (with shiny blades) ordered by most other countries. This clever bayonet design incorporated two flash hider prongs on the crossguard and the bayonet blade itself acted as the third prong. It is in excellent to new condition. (See photos). Blade measures 8 inches. The wooden grips have a few very light handling marks. The blade has some typical minor spotting and there is some shipping wear to the flash hider prongs. This will fit Israeli Light Barrel FALs or other EARLY pattern  FN FAL rifles and clones. (EEB-112)
