Ruger Old Army .44 Revolver, Stainless With Factory White Grips

A scarce mid-2000s production Ruger Old Army .44 percussion revolver, stainless steel.  Like new condition.  “Post-warning” production. (It has the “Before Using Gun – Read Warnings in Instruction Manual…” rollmark.)  This revolver was made sometime in or after 2005. Serial number: 148-0663X.  This blackpowder revolver is almost like new –with just a light cylinder-turn line! No box. The factory off-white grips Ruger medallions are original to the gun. Standard 7.5-inch barrel and a 19th-Century style notch sight rather than the target adjustable sights seen on earlier-production Old Army revolvers. (This is the sight profile that is popular with Cowboy Action shooters.) The backstrap has been custom scroll-engraved “Dispatcher”. (See photos.) Federally exempt. No FFL required. I also have a matching revolver only about 1,000 serial numbers apart available (not yet cataloged), if you want to have a pair. A slightly-used .45 Colt conversion cylinder available, if legal in your state.  But it must be ordered separately.  This model was discontinued in 2009, and they are getting scarce and collectible.
