Ruger Old Army .44 Revolver, Stainless Steel
A Ruger Old Army .44 percussion revolver, stainless steel. Very Good + condition. “Post-warning” production. (Marked with “Before Using Gun – Read Warnings in Instruction Manual…” rollmark.) This revolver was made sometime soon after 1978. Serial number: 145-298X. In an excellent condition unmarked factory yellow ruger factory box with factory manual but no markings. This black powder revolver is nearly new, but it does have a cylinder-turn line. The nipples appear new and un-fired! The original factory walnut grips with Ruger logos are light color walnut, in very nice shape. Standard 7.5-inch barrel. The original factory target adjustable sights apparently were polished by the original owner to remove their blued finish, to match the revolver’s stainless finish. (See photos.) Federally exempt. No FFL required. I also have a new-in-box .45 Colt conversion cylinder available, if legal in your state. But it must be ordered separately. This model was discontinued in 2009, and they are getting scarce and collectible. (AGCP-503)
