NIB Schrade Old Timer Son-Of-A-Gun Folding Hunter

Pre-2004 production New in factory box (Model#225OT) Schrade Old Timer Son-Of-A-Gun Large Two Bladed Hunting Folding Knife. Comes with a 4.4” stainless steel knife and saw; “SCHRADE U.S.A. 225OT” stamped on the tang. The knife has Brown reddish saw cut Delrin Handle with a plaque on one side inscribed with the words, “Old Timer,” nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. It’s a snap open and shut pocket knife, with a lock open saw. Knife has factory edge and comes with a matching Schrade factory brown leather pouch which shows some shipping wear.  (WQM-037)

Note: In July 2004, the year the company celebrated its 100th anniversary, the Schrade factory in Ellenville was closed. The Schrade name was purchased by Taylor Brands, LLC, who continue to manufacture products under the Schrade brand name as well as Old Timer, Uncle Henry, Imperial, and Smith &Wesson  knives. That production is now in mainland China.  Thus, the pre-2004 is high sought-after, by collectors.
