Iver-Johnson SA Nickel .32 Rimfire With Ivory Grips

An Iver Johnson Arms Co. “Defender” Single Action .32 Rimfire pocket revolver in fair to good condition.  Has about 80% original dulled nickel finish on the frame and 95% original dulled nickel finish on the octagonal barrel. Unfluted cylinder. Has good condition age-yellowed ivory grips from the period with one non-threatening chip. (See photos.) Poor bore with heavy pitting and frost with wear to rifling. Good strong working hammer and trigger, Cylinder indexes and locks up,  The cylinder pin, hammer, and trigger have darkened. No visible serial #. Circa 1875. A nice, collectible, and honest-looking 1870s pocket pistol. Not warranted as safe to shoot without first consulting a gunsmith. (PBA-818)
