Restored Winchester Model 1893 Pump 12 Gauge Shotgun

A scarce nicely-restored Winchester Model 1893 Pump 12 Gauge Shotgun. Beautifully reblued and original wood refinshed, to match the original finish.  Just a few light handling m arks, since refinished. Has a 29″ barrel with no choke marking, but it gauges Modified. Note: This model can accept only 2-1/2″ or 2-9/16″-length shotgun shells. it will not accept 2-3/4″ shells.  So, unless you intend this as a “wall hanger”, this gun would be best utilized by someone who is already set up to handload 12 gauge shotshells. It should be fired with only with blackpowder shells, or with mild (low base) smokeless 2-12″ loads, such as those made by Kent. Appears to work well, mechanically. Serial number 2232X indicates that it was manufactured circa 1895. A scarce gun, affordably priced! (EPYS-893)
