Vietnam War M5 Bayonet with M8 Scabbard for ARVN/ARNG M1 Garand

A Vietnam War-vintage U.S.G.I. M5 Bayonet with M8 Scabbard. This fits any M1 Garand rifle as well as some BM59 rifles. This was the bayonet model that was issued to the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN). This model was also issued to U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard units in the 1960s and 1970s — as seen in the iconic photos at Kent State University. Comes with its original scabbard that is marked “BM Co.” at the throat.  Both the bayonet and the scabbard are in near excellent condition. The bayonet was manufactured by Columbia Milpar.
