Ruger Old Army .44 Revolver, Blued, with Target Grips
SOLD to D.H.: A Ruger Old Army .44 percussion revolver, blued, with target grips. Very Good condition. “Post-warning” production. (It has the “Before Using Gun – Read Warnings in Instruction Manual…” rollmark.) Made sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Serial number: 140-1291X. This blackpowder revolver is in nice overall shape, with minor handling marks on the metal, One worn spot on the finish on the left side of the frame, forward of the cylinder, a cylinder-turn line, some scratches in the grips. (See photos.) The original factory walnut grips were replaced with a pair of smooth walnut target grips that are extra long–extending below the frame. Standard 7.5-inch barrel and target adjustable sights. No box. Federally exempt. No FFL required. I also have a new-in-box stainless steel .45 Colt conversion cylinder available, if legal in your state. But it must be ordered separately. This model was discontinued in 2009, and they are getting scarce and collectible. Note: This is just one of several Ruger Old Army revolvers that I’ve hand-picked from estates in recent months. They are priced between $800 and $1,500 FRNs each. I can show you any of them via Skype camera, if you have Skype. (IKE-472)
