Sporterized Swedish Mauser Carbine, 6.5×55 in Bishop Stock

A sporterized Carl Gustaf M1894 Swedish Mauser bolt action carbine with 17.5″ barrel chambered in 6.5×55. Dated 1898 on the receiver ring. It is in a nice condition Bishop walnut Monte Carlo stock with no sling mounts yet installed. The bluing on barrel is worn to gray, so this rifle would look best if re-blued, camouflage dipped, or Cerakoted. Has a top-quality Buehler low-swing safety. Williams adjustable iron sight that are typical of sporters built in the 1960s and 1970s.  Bore is gray, but it has distinct rifling, so it should be a great shooter.  There is rust on the front sight that should be easy to remove. Equipped with see-through scope rings and a nice condition Bushnell Sportview 3-9x scope with duplex crosshairs. Has an unusual and quite memorable sequential serial number 1234 that is matching on the receiver, bolt, cocking piece, and floorplate. A great little federally exempt Swede sporter at an affordable price. (NSS-655)
