Hopkins & Allen DA .38 — Folding Hammer

SOLD to David in Ohio: Hopkins & Allen Mfg. .38 S&W 5-shot revolver. Excellent (99%) original nickel finish and black gutta percha grips. Excellent mechanically. 3-1/4″ barrel. Has the scarce Merwin & Hulbert style folding hammer! Serial #1709X. Cylinder and hammer have mis-matched serial numbers.  Bore has excellent rifling, with just scattered light pits. I’d rate it at 8/10. Perfect mechanically. Appears to have been shot very little. This revolver came to me from Lewiston, Idaho. (UMR-574)
