SOLD  to L.H.: Colt Single Action Army, converted to .44 Special. Manufactured in 1882 (originally chambered in 44 WCF). Serial # 7638X. Standard 5-1/2″ barrel. This scarce revolver has well-figured walnut grips (probably replacements) and .44 Special cylinder tuned for quick draw shooting as is typical of those used in television and film productions. This revolver indexes well. Formerly of the Peter & Patty Murray collection. It is very uncommon to find a shootable antique Colt SAA that has been converted to a practical caliber like .44 Special!
