Scoped Chilean Semi-Sporter 7×57 M1895 Short Rifle
A typical scoped Chilean M1895 Ludwig Loewe Short Rifle semi-sporter chambered in 7×57 Mauser, equipped with a Weaver K1 (1-power) scope with traditional crosshairs. The scope is mounted high with Kwik-Site rings, to allow use of the original iron sights. This rifle’s serial # (A492X) indicates that it is from the first year of production of the Chilean military contract. Cleaning rod is absent. Only about 30% of the original bluing is present and there are a few spots of pitting. So this is a good candidate for camouflage dipping or Cerakoting. All-in-all and handy little sporter suitable for hunting or use as a scout rifle. (BBFM-354)
