Scarce Ruger Old Army .44 With Fixed Sights and 5.5″ Barrel
A scarce Ruger Old Army .44 percussion revolver, in stainless steel. This is a later production example variant with the desirable fixed sights and 5.5″ barrel length. Typical “Post-warning” production. (It has the “Before Using Gun – Read Warnings in Instruction manual…” rollmark – in this case on the side of the barrel.) No box. Made sometime circa 2008. Serial number: 148-1118X. This blackpowder revolver appears unfired and is in nearly factory-new condition with no cylinder-turn line! Has just minor handling/shipping marks. The original walnut factory Ruger logo grips are in about perfect condition. Very few of these were made with th\e handy 5.5-inch barrel and the very desirable fixed (Colt-style) sights. Federally exempt. No FFL required. I also have a new-in-box .45 Colt conversion cylinder available, if legal in your state. But it must be ordered separately. This model was discontinued in 2009, and they are getting scarce and collectible. (EKBS-335)
