SOLD — Early Ruger Old Army .44 Stainless — Circa 1975

An early-production Ruger Old Army .44 percussion revolver, stainless steel.  Excellent “as-new” condition. This an early “pre-warning” production gun. (It has no “Before Using Gun – Read Warnings in Instruction manual…” rollmark.) In its original numbered red factory box, with the outer brown cardboard shipping box!  Made circa 1975.  Has a no-prefix three-digit serial number: 81X.  This blackpowder revolver is in excellent shape, with just a few light handling marks and a cylinder-turn line. The original grips are in very nice shape. Standard 7.5-inch barrel and target adjustable sights. This revolver is as new in the factory box showing little, to no use. Grips are excellent and show no wear. The bore is minty bright and may be unfired. Action is crisp and locks up tightly. Federally exempt. No FFL is required. I also have a new-in-box .45 Colt conversion cylinder available, if legal in your state.  But it must be ordered separately.  This model was discontinued in 2009, and they are now scarce and collectible.
