Ludwig Loewe Argentine M1891 — Unaltered and Excellent!

An excellent contition  Mauser 1891 in 7.65x53mm Argentine contract Mauser. Typical scrubbed crest (probably before export to Peru.) Made by Ludwig Loewe, Berlin. Ser. # W619X .  Its W-prefix high serial # indicates that it was made in late 1896 or perhaps early 1897, shortly before the Ludwig Loewe company was merged into the DWM conglomerate.  Nice bore with solid rifling. Most importantly, it is still in original military configuration!  (The vast majority of these rifles were sporterized, during the sportertization craze of the 1960s.)  Wood shows no signs of refinishing. Near excellent original finish wood with just a few minor dings. Truly excellent bluing (98%+) And all serial numbers match! This is the nicest original M1891 that I’ve ever had pass through my hands! (UFIS-891)
