SOLD – Harrington & Richardson .32 S&W DA H&R First Variation

SOLD – This is a fairly scarce Harrington & Richardson six-shot .32 S&W double action (DA)-only revolver. It is a first variation that was manufactured between 1895 and 1896. Patent date is Oct. 4th 1887. Serial # 578X. It is a top break revolver with double top post barrel latch. Has an unusual exposed but “non-snagging” hammer, for pocket carry. With this style hammer, it cannot be thumb-cocked for single action. Has a standard 3″ inch barrel.Bore has Very Good rifling, but needs cleaning. May have some pitting.  I’ll rate the bore 4/10, just be safe. About 95% original nickel with some minor pinprick nickel speckling and one chip in the nickel at the frame pivot. It appears to operate as it should. A great little Federally-exempt purse or backup gun. (PCL-532) Firm Price: $395  – SOLD
