SOLD — Scarce Swiss 1896/11 7.5×55 Swiss service rifle with Target Sights. P-prefix (“Privat”) Privatө serial # P. 661X (1896). Import marked, Swiss Model 96/11 chambered in 7.5 x 55. This rifle can safely shoot the modern GP-11 high pressure cartridges. The rifle has a magazine with a number matched to the receiver! Bore is mirror bright and shiny. The rifle is in very good overall condition and only shows some typical dings in the wood, but no signs of abuse. Most of the original bluing is present. The target variants are very scarce.
